Welcome to my fabric store Raj Fab Printers. Today we have brought for you cotton hand block print fabric which is printed by Bagru hand block Print.
The designs of the hand blocks, crafted over centuries by the Chhipa community, are intricate in nature and highlight a beautiful assortment of burnt flora and fauna and geometric motifs.
In the traditional cotton hand block print fabric process of Bagru, the cloth is first soaked in water for one or two days and then a mixture of powder called Halda is mixed in water to make it yellow. Then after drying it, blocks made of wood are designed with the help of natural colors.
After that it is converted into final salable substance by boiling in hot water.

Bagru print is a process of block printing done with natural dyes. This fabric printing tradition has been carried on for over 100 years by the Chhipa community of Bagru, India
