Bagru printing is a traditional Indian hand block printing technique that originates from the village of Bagru in Rajasthan. The process involves printing intricate designs on fabric using wooden blocks and natural dyes. After the printing is done, the fabric undergoes a washing process to set the colors and remove any excess dye

FABRIC WASHING PROCESS

The washing process is crucial for setting the colors and removing excess dye. It helps prevent bleeding of colors and enhances the overall appearance of the print.
The fabric is washed using water and sometimes mild detergents.
The washing is often done manually, and the fabric may be soaked in water for a specific duration.
After washing, the fabric is sun-dried. Sunlight helps to set the colors and further enhances the vibrancy of the print.

HAND BLOCK PRINTING PROCESS
